Real Time Data and the Internet

Postby Jeff Barnes » Wed Apr 20, 2011 5:58 pm

Hi,

Looking for some input.....

I would like to take data from a medical device (sends data every second) and send it via the internet to a reading station in as close to real time as possible.

Has anyone done something like this ?
Any pointers to get me started?
What is the best way to send and receive the data across the net for an application like this?
Thanks,
Jeff Barnes

Got it figured out. Sockets and Hamachi do the trick nicely :D

Antonio, Are sockets available on FWPPC?
Thanks,
Jeff Barnes
