x is set to "U" with a data valtype() of "S"

what is data type "S"?

A symbol :-)

It refers to the idea of an item belonging to the application symbols table

Can this value be translated to:

lpfnEventProc = ?????
In order to :

Specify the procedure-instance address of the application defined callback function ( in my case, SSL_EVENTS() .
