Possible to FREEZE a dialog-position and size on screen ?

Postby ukoenig » Sat Sep 07, 2013 2:15 pm

Hello,

is it possible, to FREEZE the position of a normal dialog on screen ?
I don't want, that the user can MOVE or RESIZE the dialog.

Best Regards

Uwe,

A quick solution would be to define the dialog without title and border

Antonio,

thank You very much.
Maybe I can get a good visible result, removing title and border.

A situation, I'm using common in my tools. :
The bottom includes a dialog without title but still with a border :

Uwe,

Can't see your posted screenshot.

By the way, we have solved the wrong lines painting on the right side of the xbrowse in FWH 13.08, here :-)

This is the result without title and frame.
Still some work needed like adding a SAY as title.

because of any possible combination, I used the same brushes for WINDOW and DIALOG.
The dialogs are still visible ( a little border around ) :

I created 3 alphablended Images with a external Font-creator ( NO says )
One is used as title and two as sub-titles.
The fontheight is calculated with a factor resource-width to image-with, to keep the ratio.

Another solution : drawing TITLES with any style and on any screen-position.
The final extended result of a function, I started some month ago :
