Adolfo,
Use the clause TRANSPARENT when creating the bitmap:
@ ..., ... BITMAP ... TRANSPARENT
or
REDEFINE BITMAP ... TRANSPARENT

or
REDEFINE BITMAP ... TRANSPARENT
