I don't have experiencie with SNMP with xHarbour, but you ca see MRTG utility, and implement a xHarbour monitor

I think you mean SMTP.

I'm currently using it with success with xharbour 0.99.

I'm able to email emf reports right out of the preview window. So far so good. I'd upload the code here but, don't know how to attach a file with this new ng. So if you want the code, I'll email it to you.

I don't think I mean SMTP but you are probably right in me having the wrong abbrevation. The protocol I am looking for has noting to do with mail, it is intended to query hardware devices on a lan and get information about their status.
